Gatsby Glamour
I am still catching up on posts so this is from a few months ago when my friend Rene and I went to Triple George for a fabulous 1920s inspired lunch. I wore the most gorgeous outfit from Unique Vintage. Yes, Outfit! The purse and headpiece is also from Unique Vintage! Every year towards NYE they have an array of colors in this flapper style dress and they all define GLAMOUR. I am so happy Rene and I got to shoot some fabulous images at Triple George. This place has the most gorgeous period correct decor and the food was delicious! I have also been there for drinks and those were amazing too. Rene always shows me the best places. Jinkies!
Scooby Doo was one of the cartoons I watched a lot as a kid and when I wore this Tatyana Catherine dress I felt just like a hybrid of Velma and Phoebe haha. But how cute is this look though? Black & Bamboo
Lately I have been day dreaming about traveling internationally again. Maybe London, maybe Paris, maybe Italy? I’d go anywhere out of the Country to try new foods, meet new people, and experience cultures other than mine. It’s one of my favorite things to do although my work schedule doesn’t permit it. A girl can dream!
I imagine I’d be packing a dress like the Peggy Retro dress from Tatyana with a cool hat like this one from Stetson. Instead, I wore my comfortable travel outfit for a day in Boulder City which isn’t too bad. It just isn’t Italy or France ;). Still thought I’d share it with you!
New Heights
This sexy little black dress from Tatyana Boutique is so much fun to wear. I love that it is versatile enough to be worn as a day or night dress depending on how you accessorize it. I wore it the other day as a day dress with my Bow & Crossbones Jewelry and a vintage straw purse. It has the cutest mid drift cut out and a bow on the bust. It’s also super comfortable and not your typical wiggle dress you have to waddle around in hahaha. If you want a versatile LBD to add to your wardrobe, this one is definitely a good choice!
Boulder City Bombshell
I am so in love with the Peggy retro dress from Tatyana Boutique. I have to admit, I love it so much I have it in 3 colors! It comes in Black, Turquoise, and a color called Fiesta which is more of a deep orange (one of my favorite colors!). It was so much fun accessorizing this dress. I paired it with a Stetson hat, Vintage jewelry, a straw purse, and some Charlotte Olympia rope heels. My sunnies are from Buffalo Exchange.
I love how this whole outfit turned out. It helps that I had a pretty canvas (this fabulous dress!) to work with. It was the perfect outfit for a day exploring Boulder City! Read More
